Cobra XRS 9840

The Cobra XRS 9840 is one of six 12-band, high-performance radar/laser detectors released two years after the original lineup (9330, 9430, 9530) as an upgrade. In particular, the XRS 9840 is the first in the series to add along features that help the user manage his/her vehicle.

An integrated battery voltage display provides a graphical display of the car battery voltage, while a low car battery warning alerts users to whenever the voltage falls beneath 11.9 volts. Like its predecessors, the 9840 tracks 12 of the most commonly used signals in addition to POP mode radar, incoming emergency vehicles, and railroad tracks. It provides these signals on a DigiView digital display, but it also alerts users with specific voice annunciation of the signal being detected.
