Cobra XRS R9G

The Cobra XRS R9G is a high-end radar/laser detector similar to the Cobra XRS R8. Lacking the XRS R8's AURA database option as well as offering only 12-band protection (the XRS R8 offers 15), the XRS R9G has more in common with the Cobra XRS R7 but offers more programmable features (100 location alerts, speed alert).

Otherwise, the XRS R9G sports the same features as the rest of the XRS R line, namely an IntelliLink 2.4GHz Digital Wireless Remote System.

The XRS R9G's 12-band detection covers 6 radar (X Band, K Band, Ka Superwide, Ku Band, VG-2 and Spectre), 4 laser (LTI 20-20, Ultra Lyte, ProLaser and ProLaser III) and 2 safety signals (Safety Alert and Strobe Alert) for protection from most popular radar/laser guns. Its user-defined alert options allow users to program up to 100 location-based alerts into the XRS R9G while also allowing it to sound an alert when a user-defined speed limit is broken. Additionally, the XRS R9G's IntelliLink 2.4GHz Digital Wireless Remote System provides a remote control unit separate from the detection unit for greater ease-of-use and placement.
