Escort RedLine
$500.00
Released July, 2009
The Pros:Longer range than most other commercially available radar detectors. Consistently picks up radar from front or rear, over a mile out. Warning lights are discreet and can be set to turn on only on the power cord.
The Cons:Standard included coil is bulky and can be a hassle in installation or removal. Highly expensive, even compared to other Escort products.
The Escort Redline is a high-end radar detector. Escort promotes the Redline as the most sensitive radar/laser detector on the market. The dual antennae design of this radar detector is geared toward treating each band specifically, so that you have the longest warning possible for red light or speed cameras on every band.

The digital voice alert will let you know long before you are in the thick of it. There are three sensitivity modes to choose from: Highway (which gives you the most sensitivity possible), Auto (which is a filtered version of Highway) and AutoNoX (which is the same as Auto, but with no X band detection). The Digital Signal Processing (DSP) of this radar detector analyzes all incoming signals and automatically rejects false alarms. The TotalShield technology of the Redline makes it undetectable to radar detector detectors. The Escort Redline radar detector comes with a one year limited warranty.
