The Escort Solo S2 Cordless is a mid-range radar/laser detector that runs on two AA batteries for greater portability. It offers all-band, 360 degree radar and laser detection without requiring, as the name suggests, a cord of any type.

Additionally, the Solo S2 Cordless features high-efficiency power management for maximized battery life and and an AutoSensitivity mode for reduced false alarms.

The Solo S2 Cordless offers radar detection on the X-band (10.525 GHz ± 25 MHz), K-band (24.150 GHz ± 100 MHz), Ka-band (34.700 GHz ± 1300 MHz) and Laser 904nm, 33 MHz Bandwidth, ensuring detection of most forms of radar. Its high-efficiency power management system allows the Solo S2 Cordless to operate normally while maximizing battery life by turning off systems not currently in use (LCD display). Meanwhile, the Solo S2 Cordless' AutoSensitivity mode automatically filters out most false alarms, offering more accurate protection.
