Python 1601

The Python 1601 is an entry-level security and remote start system featuring dual 5-button SuperCode remotes. Designed to be operated from a range of up to 2000-ft, the 1601 system provides 2-way communications, allowing users to turn on their vehicle, arm or disarm it, manage timers, and more.

Also included is a D2D serial data interface for an Xpresskit D2d serial data interface module; inputs for doors, hood, and trunk monitoring; an integrated shock sensor; and ports for optional tilt, glass break, cabin, and proximity sensors. Critics especially appreciate the integrated shock sensor, as it’ll automatically trip the alarm if it detects outside force. And once the alarm has been triggered, there’s no way to start the engine.
